THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN EUREKA CA HAS EXTENDED A SMALL RIVER
AND STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 AM PST SUNDAY FOR PEOPLE
IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA

  ...WEST CENTRAL HUMBOLDT COUNTY
     INCLUDING EUREKA AND ARCATA

FLOODING OF THE AREA FROM SUNNY BRAE NEAR ARCATA TO THE BAYSIDE RD
CUTOFF OF HWY 101 CONTINUES AND WILL BE SLOW TO RECEDE.  BAYSIDE RD
AND PARTS OF OLD ARCATA RD ARE UNDERWATER.  THE FLOODING IS EXPECTED
TO SLOWLY RECEDE THRU THE NIGHT WITH THE ROADS BECOMING PASSABLE BY
vMORNING.    

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS TONIGHT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH STANDING
WATER OR AROUND POLICE BARRICADES.
