IN NORTHEAST KANSAS ...DONIPHAN KS AT 935 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR HOLTON...OR 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF TROY MOVINGEAST-NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. PEOPLE IN PURCELL AND TROY ARE IN THE PROJECTED PATH OF THIS STORM AND SHOULD EXPECT HAIL ONE INCH IN DIAMETER OR LARGER AND DAMAGING WINDS. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.
