000 WUUS1 KMCI 080747 RRA SVRMCI KSC209-080830- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY MO 247 AM CDT THU JUN 8 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN KANSAS CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS ...WYANDOTTE COUNTY AT 245 AM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO WYANDOTTE COUNTY KANSAS. THE STORMS ARE PRODUCING SEVERE WINDS UP TO 70 MPH AND WILL MOVE ACROSS KANSAS CITY KANSAS BY 3 AM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. PB
