SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  845 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA
 
   ...JOHNSON COUNTY...LINN COUNTY
 
AT 751 PM CDT...RADAR SHOWED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM MARENGO TO AMIS
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THESE STORMS PRODUCED TREE DAMAGE IN NORTH
ENGLISH AND WILLIAMSBURG IN IOWA COUNTY AT 748 PM. THEY WILL REACH CEDAR
RAPIDS AND IOWA CITY BY 815 PM. WINDS WILL LIKELY GUST OVER 60 MPH AND
PRODUCE TREE AND POWER LINE DAMAGE.
 
THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF DAMAGING WIND.  GO INSIDE A STURDY
