FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  600 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA
 
   ...JACKSON COUNTY
 
AT 1250 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS CENTRAL JACKSON COUNTY... NEAR THE
TOWNS OF FULTON AND MAQUOKETA. THESE STORMS HAVE SHOWN LITTLE MOVEMENT.
DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN PER HOUR IN THESE
LOCATIONS... WITH STORM TOTALS APPROACHING SEVEN INCHES NEAR FULTON.
 
LAW ENFORCEMENT IN JACKSON COUNTY REPORTED OVER TWO FEET OF STANDING
WATER ON NORTH MAIN IN MAQUOKETA... AND ONE FOOT OF WATER WEST OF PLATT
ON HIGHWAY 64.
