TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL KANSAS
 
   ...SCOTT COUNTY
 
AT 1159 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A DEVELOPING TORNADO ABOUT 4 MILES
WEST OF SCOTT CITY AND SPOTTERS INDICATED A FUNNEL CLOUD. THE STORM WAS
MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL BE NEAR SCOTT CITY BY 1205 AM. PERSONS IN
SCOTT CITY SHOULD TAKE SHELTER NOW!!!
 
THIS WARNING REPLACES THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING THAT HAD BEEN IN
EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM.
 
THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN THE
PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE... GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
STURDIJER BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
