000 TTAA00 KDDC 230004 SVRDDC KSC047-230045- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 702 PM CDT MON MAY 22 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS ...WESTERN EDWARDS COUNTY AT 7PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF KINSLEY MOVING TO THE EAST AT 15 MPH. LARGE HAIL ALONG WITH TORRENTIAL RAIN IS LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. THE STORM WILL BE IN THE KINSLEY AREA BY 720 PM. PERSONS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD MOVE INTO STURDY SHELTER UNTIL THE STORM PASSES. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
