IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS ...SOUTHERN HAMILTON COUNTY...NORTHERN STANTON COUNTY AT 1020 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM 30 MILES WEST OF SYRACUSE TO 35 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF JOHNSON MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. THE BIGGEST THREAT OF THESE STORMS WILL BE GUSTY WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES AN HOUR. BRIEF TORRENTIAL RAINS AND SMALL HAIL ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. THESE STORMS WILL BE SOUTH OF SYRACUSE AND IN JOHNSON BY 11 PM CDT. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
