000 TTAA00 KCTP 042209 SVRCTP PAC105-117-042300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STATE COLLEGE PA 608 PM EDT FRI AUG 4 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...S... IN PENNSYLVANIA ...SOUTHERN POTTER COUNTY...SOUTHERN TIOGA COUNTY AT 610 PM STATE COLLEGE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM MANSFIELD IN EASTERN TIOGA COUNTY WESTWARD TO SWEDEN VALLEY IN POTTER COUNTY. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL EXTEND FROM MORRIS RUN TO THE SUSQUEHANNOCK STATE FORREST BY 630 PM. THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIND DAMAGE IN THE AREA FROM SUNDERLINVILLE TO SABINSVILLE. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.
