A LARGE AREA OF LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN EAST OF A LINE FROM FREER
TO BROWNSVILLE TO THE COAST.
 
ALTHOUGH MOST OF THE HEAVY RAINFALL HAS ENDED IN ARANSAS COUNTY...
MODERATE RAIN CONTINUES TO FALL. THE ARANSAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S
OFFICE REPORTS THAT NUMEROUS ROADWAYS STILL HAVE WATER STANDING ON
THEM.
 
WITH THE THREAT FOR ADDITIONAL RAINFALL ALL RESIDENTS SHOULD BE
PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
