000 TTAA00 KCLE 101756 SVRCLE PAC049-101900- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 156 PM EDT WED MAY 10 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA ...ERIE COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT WATERS OF LAKE ERIE A RAPIDLY DEVELOPING THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER SOUTHERN ERIE COUNTY JUST NORTHEAST OF EDINBORO. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WAS MOVING TOWARD BRANCHVILLE AND WATERFORD AND THE CITY OF ERIE. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS... FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS WHICH MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF DRAINAGE SYSTEMS. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHWEST OHIO WILL CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN INTO THIS AFTERNOON AND PROGRESS EASTWARD INTO NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST OHIO AFTER 1 PM. THE MAIN THREATS FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. AT 1158 AM A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 35 MILES SOUTHEAST OF TOLEDO NEAR TIFFIN. THE STORM WAS PRODUCING PEA SIZE HAIL AND HEAVY RAIN AND WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THE STORM WILL REACH SANDUSKY BY 1245 PM.
