TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHEAST MONTANA
 
   ...SOUTHERN DAWSON COUNTY
 
AT 4:30 PM, SPOTTERS IN DAWSON COUNTY REPORTED 3 FUNNEL CLOUDS SOUTHWEST
OF THE CITY OF GLENDIVE. THESE ARE ASSOCIATED WITH A SEVERE STORM
LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES SOUTH OF TOWN. THIS STORM IS ALSO
PRODUCING 1-2 INCH HAIL, TORRENTIAL RAINS AND HIGH WINDS. NO TORNADOES
ARE REPORTED YET BUT FUNNEL CLOUDS INDICATE THE POSSIBILITY OF A
TORNADO. THIS STORM IS MOVING NORTH AT 20-30 MPH AND SHOULD BE IN THE
GLENDIVE AREA WITHIN THE HALF HOUR.
 
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL &INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES
FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
