FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  300 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST NEW HAMPSHIRE
 
   ...CHESHIRE COUNTY
 
HEAVY RAINFALL OF 2 OR MORE INCHES HAS CAUSED SMALL STREAMS IN CHESHIRE
COUNTY TO RISE TO NEAR BANKFULL. MANY DITCHES AND CULVERTS HAVE FLOODED
DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF RAIN AND POOR DRAINAGE FROM CLOGGED LEAVES.
ROUTE 124 BETWEEN JAFFREY AND MARLBOROUGH HAS BEEN REPORTED TO BE UNDER
WATER IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS. A ROAD WASHOUT WAS REPORTED NEAR PERKINS
POND IN JAFFREY. A NUMBER OF SECONDARY ROADS HAVE BEEN CLOSED DUE TO
HIGH WATER.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
