THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 845 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN
THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES

IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO
     WESTERN MORGAN AND SOUTH CENTRAL WELD

INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS
     GOODRICH...JACKSON RESERVOIR...KERSEY...ORCHARD...
     RIVERSIDE RESERVOIR AND WIGGINS

AT 744 PM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 4 MILES SOUTHEAST OF KERSEY ...OR ABOUT
21 MILES EAST OF GREELEY.

THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH AND WILL
REACH THE JACKSON RESERVOIR AREA AROUND 730 PM MDT IF IT MAINTAINS
ITS PRESENT SPEED AND TRACK.

EARLIER THIS EVENING THIS THUNDERSTORM PRODUCED TWO FUNNEL CLOUDS JUST
SOUTH OF THE TOWN OF GREELEY.

5 PM MDT   SUNDAY   MAY 21 1995

...STRONG THUNDERSTORM IN SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTY...

AT 5 PM MDT RADAR DETECTED A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM FLOATING ACROSS
SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTY.  THE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 6 MILES
SOUTH OF ANTON CCOLORADO OR 45 MILES SOUTH OF AKRON.  IT WAS MOVING TO
THE EAST ABOUT 20 MPH.

THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL PASS BY COPE AND ENTER SOUTWEST YUMA COUNTY
BETWEEN 530 AND 6 PM MDT IF IT CONTINUES TO MOVE EAST AT ITS PRESENT
RATE OF SPEED AND.  THIS THUNDERSTORM IS STRONG ENOUGH TO PRODUCE PEA TO
MARBLE SIZE HAIL ALONG WITH HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS.

PEOPLE IN SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON COUNTIES SHOULD MOVE
INTO A STURDY SHELTER IF THIS THUNDERSTORM APPROACHES.  MOTORISTS ON
HIGHWAY 36 AND OTHER ROADS SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 36 SHOULD BE ALERT FOR POOR
VISIBILITIES DUE TO HEAVY RAIN.  WATER MAY POND ON ROADWAYS IN LOW LYING
SPOTS.  MONITOR LOCAL NEWS MEDIA OR NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR THE LATEST
WEATHER BULLETINS AND ADVISORIES.
