SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  945 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA
 
   ...LAMAR COUNTY
 
AT 858 PM...WEATHER SERVICE RADARS SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER
EASTERN LAMAR COUNTY...JUST SOUTHEAST OF CROSSVILLE. THIS STORM WAS
MOVING WEST-NORTHWEST AT 15 TO 20 MPH...AND WILL BE AFFECTING CROSSVILLE
AND VERNON BETWEEN 900 AND 930 PM. LARGE HAIL AND STRONG WIND REMAINS
LIKELY WITH THIS STORM.
 
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRIDNG...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
