THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  700 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA
 
   ...BURLEIGH COUNTY
 
AT 550 PM CDT RADAR DETECTED A LARGE CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM
MANDAN TO 35 MILES NORTH OF BISMARCK. MOVEMENT WAS EAST SOUTHEAST AT 25
MPH. WEATHER SERVICE SPOTTERS REPORTED 3/4 INCH HAIL IN SOUTH BISMARCK.
ANOTHER SPOTTER REPORTED 1/2 HAIL COVERING THE GROUND NEAR 7-SEAS MOTEL.
BROKEN WINDOWS DUE TO HAIL WERE REPORTED IN MANDAN.
 
URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IS LIKELY AS THE STORM MOVES THROUGH
BURLEIGH COUNTY.
 
IF YOU LIVE IN BISMARCK...WING OR STERLING YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
