000 TTAA00 KAMA 070734 SVRAMA NMC009-070830- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AMARILLO TX 233 AM CDT (133 AM MDT) SUN MAY 7 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 AM CDT (230 AM MDT) FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO ...CURRY COUNTY AT 235 AM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO SOUTHWEST CURRY COUNTY. MELROSE IS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM AT IT MOVES NORTHEAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER... SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. MOVE INDOORS AND AWAY FROM AREAS WHERE LOOSE ITEMS COULD BECOME FLYING DEBRIS. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
