IN WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA ...SOUTHERN CITRUS COUNTY...HERNANDO COUNTY AND FOR THE COASTAL WATERS A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED BY RADAR 15 MILES WEST OF CRYSTAL RIVER MOVING TO THE EASTSOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVE TO A REINFORCED BUILDING. WATERSPOUTS THAT MOVE ONSHORE CAN DO CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE.
