A TORNADO WAS REPORTED BY CDF IN BUTTE COUNTY AT 2:28 PST THIS
AFTERNOON. THE TORNADO WAS SEEN BY CDF PERSONNEL ABOUT 3 MILES SOUTH OF
OROVILLE. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT 15 MPH.
 
REPEAT...THIS IS A CONFIRMED REPORT OF A TORNADO ON THE GROUND.
THE TORNADO WAS REPORTED TO HAVE TAKEN A ROOF OFF AT LEAST ONE BUILDING.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES
FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
