...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM THIS EVENING FOR MOST OF
   THE CONCHO VALLEY...THE NORTHWEST HILL COUNTRY AND THE NORTHERN
   EDWARDS PLATEAU...

AT 5 PM THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...POSSIBLE SMALL HAIL AND
STRONG GUSTY WINDS WERE SCATTERED ACROSS IRION COUNTY. THE STRONGEST
STORMS WERE EAST AND SOUTHEAST OF MERTZON. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST-
SOUTHEAST 15 MILES AN HOUR.

OTHER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE SCATTERED ACROSS WESTERN CROCKETT
COUNTY. THE HEAVIEST RAIN WAS 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF SHEFFIELD MOVING
TO THE SOUTHEAST 15 MILES AN HOUR.

REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THUNDERSTORMS THAT PRODUCE TORNADO'S..LARGE HAIL..
DAMAGING WIND AND INTENSE LIGHTNING IN AND NEAR THE WATCH AREA.
PERSONS IN THE CONCHO VALLEY...THE NORTHWEST HILL COUNTRY AND THE
NORTHERN EDWARDS PLATEAU SHOULD STAY ALERT FOR SEVERE WEATHER THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. BE PREPARED FOR QUICK ACTION IF THREATENING
