119 AM CDT THU APR 28 1994

...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR VERNON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL
MISSOURI UNTIL 345 AM CDT...

AT 110 AM CDT...RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER
SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI.

MOST INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WAS IN A CLUSTER OVER VERNON AND BARTON
COUNTIES.  THESE STORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND MOVE ACROSS AN AREA
ALREADY IN A DANGEROUS FLOODING SITUATION.  WEATHER RADAR RAINFALL
ESTIMATES IN THIS AREA HAS EXCEEDED 4 INCHES.

ANOTHER INTENSE THUNDERSTORM WAS 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF LEBANON NEAR
BENNETT SPRINGS.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST 30 MPH.

PEOPLE IN BENNETT SPRINGS...LEBANON...SLEEPER AND DOVE SHOULD BE
PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF A WARNING IS ISSUED.

SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY CONTAIN SMALL HAIL...GUSTY WINDS...DEADLY
LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS OF RAIN.

RESIDENTS OF VERNON COUNTY SHOULD USE CAUTION WHILE TRAVELING
TONIGHT...AS SOME SECONDARY ROADS AND LOW-LYING AREAS MAY BE
COVERED BY FLOODWATERS.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR A PORTION OF SOUTHWEST AND
WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI UNTIL 500 AM.
