NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
1215 AM CDT SUN JUN 26 1994

A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CDT FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH
CENTRAL MISSOURI.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED TO THE EAST OF A LINE FROM
LEBANON TO WILLOW SPRINGS TO WEST PLAINS.  MOVEMENT WAS TO THE
SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

AT 1215 AM THERE WAS ONE ESPECIALLY STRONG THUNDERSTORM ON THE
LECLEDE-WRIGHT COUNTY LINE NEAR COMPETITION.  IT SHOULD BE EXPECTED
TO MOVE TO A LOCATION BETWEEN CABOOL AND HOUSTON BY ABOUT 115 AM CDT.
