SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  400 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI

RADAR AT 310 AM CDT INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 50 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF SPRINGFIELD NEAR SHELL KNOB. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST 30 MPH.
 
GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL IS POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.  PEOPLE ON TABLE ROCK
LAKE SHOULD MOVE TO SHORE IMMEDIATELY.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES

PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN OVER THOSE COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

ANOTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER SOUTHWEST VERNON COUNTY ABOUT 10
MILES SOUTHWEST OF NEVADA.  THIS STORM MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL
HAIL.

AT 1240 AM...RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM 30
MILES SOUTH OF JOPLIN NEAR TIFF CITY MISSOURI TO NEAR JOPLIN.  THE
STORMS ARE MOVING SOUTEAST 30 MPH.  THESE STORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE
CITY OF JOPLIN...NEOSHO...AND PINEVILLE BY 115 AM.

PEOPLE SHOULD EXPECT HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL...AND STRONG GUSTY WIND AS
THESE STORMS MOVE ACROSS THE AREA.
