AT 608 PM RADAR SHOWED A THUNDERSTORM THAT HAS BEEN PRODUCING TORNADOES
LOCATED OVER MOORESVILLE MOVING NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 45 MPH. THE PATH OF
THIS STORM WOULD TAKE THE TORNADO FROM THE MOORESVILLE AREA THROUGH
ROWAN COUNTY BETWEEN CHINA GROVE AND SALISBURY.
 
TORNADOES WHICH OCCUR AFTER DARK ARE ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS. GET TO A
PLACE OF SAFETY NOW. STAY AWAY FROM DOORS AND WINDOWS. GET OUT OF
MOBILE HOMES AND CARS. IF DAMAGE OCCURS NEAR YOU...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
WALK AROUND IN THE DARK. THERE MAY BE DOWNED POWER LINES AND OTHER
