THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBUS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  700 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY......
 
IN CENTRAL OHIO
 
   ...FAYETTE COUNTY
 
AT 715 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ENTERING WESTERN FAYETTE COUNTY. A POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS
REPORTED FROM THESE STORMS BY STATE POLICE NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF
ROUTE 72 AND INTERSTATE 71 JUST WEST OF THE FAYETTE COUNTY LINE.
 
THE STORMS WERE MOVING RAPIDLY EAST AT 50 MILES AN HOUR...AND WILL MOVE
ACROSS FAYETTE COUNTY.  VERY STRONG WINDS WILL OCCUR WITH THESE STORMS.
 
 
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES
FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
