AT 630 PM MDT...RADAR INDICATED A LINE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM NORTH OF HOLLY IN NORTHEAST PROWERS COUNTY ALONG HIGHWAY 50 TO LAMAR...THEN STRETCHING SOUTHWEST TO 10 MILES SOUTH OF LA JUNTA. STORMS WERE MOVING EAST-NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. HEAVY RAIN WAS REPORTED SOUTH OF LAMAR AND SOUTH OF LA JUNTA ALONG WITH SMALL HAIL. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE ALONG HIGHWAY 50 AS THESE STORMS CONTINUE MOVING TO THE EAST-NORTHEAST. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLORADO SPRINGS CO 639 PM MDT SAT JUL 16 1994 ...TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF EAST CENTRAL COLORADO... A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM MDT FOR ALL OF EAST CENTRAL COLORADO. THIS TORNADO WATCH INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... TELLER...EL PASO...ELBERT...LINCOLN. THE WATCH INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO COLORADO SPRINGS..WOODLAND PARK ...CALHAN...PEYTON...KIOWA...LIMON...KARVEL AND HUGO. AT 635 PM MDT LIMON RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS COVERING MOST OF SOUTHERN TELLER COUNTY AND MOST OF EASTERN EL PASO COUNTY.
