AT 6:20 PM, PHOENIX DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED SEVERAL RAPIDLY-DEVELOPING THUNDERSTORMS OVER FAR NORTHWEST AND SOUTHERN MARICOPA COUNTY. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE CENTERED 20 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF WICKENBURG. INDIVIDUAL CELLS WERE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE NORTH, AND WILL PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS BETWEEN 6:20 AND 6:45 PM. RADAR- ESTIMATED RAINFALLS OF 1 INCH HAVE OCCURRED OVER BLACK BUTTE 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF AGUILA BETWEEN 5:45 AND 6:20 PM MST.
