SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT AND RADAR SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE  TN
101 PM CDT FRI APR 29 1994

AT 100 PM CDT...SEVERAL STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAD DEVELOPED ACROSS
MIDDLE TENNESSEE IN A BAND FROM SAVANNAH TO DICKSON...SPRINGFIELD AND
NORTH TO COLUMBIA IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY.  THE STRONGEST
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED SOUTH OF ASHLAND IN CHEATHAM COUNTY AND NEAR
THE SOUTHERN END OF THE LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

THESE STROMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR BRIEF HEAVY RAINS...STRONG WIND AND
HAIL.  THESE STORMS ARE THE LEADING EDGE OF AN AREA OF POTENTIALLY
SEVERE WEATHER AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT THAT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION
OVERNIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY.
