SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

AT 635 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTH OF GULFPORT
WITH ANOTHER POSSIBLE SEVERE STORM JUST OFFSHORE. BOTH STORMS WERE
MOVING NORTH AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.
 
RESIDENTS OF LYMAN SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR POSSIBLE SEVERE WEATHER BY 645
PM AND ANOTHER STORM WILL MOVE ACROSS GULFPORT BEFORE 7 PM.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...

...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN JUST OFF COAST
OF GULFPORT...

AT 615 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN
AND GUSTY WINDS IN THE MISSISSIPPI SOUND JUST SOUTH OF GULFPORT.

SEVERAL REPORTS OF WATERSPOUTS AND FUNNEL CLOUDS OVER THE SOUND HAVE
BEEN RECEIVED BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING
IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM FOR THE SOUND.

THE WATERSPOUTS HAVE DISSIPATED BUT ADDITIONAL WATERSPOUTS ARE POSSIBLE
FOR THE NEXT 30 TO 60 MINUTES IN THE HARRISON COUNTY COASTAL WATERS.

IF THIS THUNDERSTORM MOVES ONSHORE...TORRENTIAL RAINS AND GUSTY WINDS
CAN BE EXPECTED FOR A BRIEF PERIOD BETWEEN GULFPORT AND LONG BEACH

ROUGH SEAS AND GUSTY WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED IN AND AROUND THE
THUNDERSTORM.
