AT 1005 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM NEAR JACKSON ALABAMA IN CLARKE COUNTY.  THIS STORM
WAS MOVING SLOWLY TO THE SOUTH AND MAY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING
WINDS...FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING AND LOCAL STREET FLOODING.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DDO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
