...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT ALONG THE GULF COAST UNTIL MIDNIGHT.
ESCAMBIA...SANTA ROSA AND OKALOOSA COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA ARE
INCLUDED IN THIS TORNADO WATCH...

AT 830 PM CST...RADAR WAS DETECTING TWO LINES OF STRONG SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. ONE LINE EXTENDED FROM THE MOUTH OF THE MISSISSIPPI
RIVER NORTHEAST TO CLARKE COUNTY OF ALABAMA. THE SECOND LINE MERGES WITH
THE FIRST FROM CLARKE COUNTY SOUTHWEST TOWARDS NEW ORLEANS. THESE LINES
WERE MOVING EAST TOWARDS THE WEST FLORIDA PANHANDLE.

STRONG GUSTY WINDS ARE ALREADY OCCURRING ACROSS NORTHWEST FLORIDA. THE
PASSAG0E OF THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE WINDS TO INCREASE PROBABLY CAUSING
PROBLEMS AS THEY MOVE ACROSS THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE.
