...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR BOYLE AND GARRARD COUNTIES UNTIL
1000 PM EDT...

AT 335 PM EDT...RADAR DETECTED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER LANCASTER...
ABOUT 30 MILES SOUTH OF LEXINGTON. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST
NEAR 25 MPH AND WILL APPROACH RICHMOND BY AROUND 400 PM EDT.

HEAVY RAIN...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS...AND SMALL HAIL ARE
LIKELY WITH THESE STORMS. PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS IS ALSO
POSSIBLE. IF A STORM SHOULD APPROACH YOUR AREA...TAKE SHELTER INSIDE
UNTIL IT PASSES AND STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR FURTHER
UPDATES.
