THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      HOOKER

AT 615 MDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS ABOUT 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
MULLEN NEBRASKA AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.  MULLEN IS 55 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF VALENTINE.

IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY
HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A
TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT!!

ABOUT 53 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF VALENTINE NEBRASKA.  THE AREA EXTENDED
SOUTHWEST OVER NORTHWEST HOOKER AND CENTRAL GRANT COUNTY OF NEBRASKA.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAINS AND POSSIBLY SMALL HAIL
AND BRIEF GUSTY WINDS AS THEY MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA
