A TORNADO WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES ACROSS
WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA:

HOOKER     LOGAN     MCPHERSON     THOMAS     CUSTER
FRONTIER   HAYES     LINCOLN

AT 400 PM CDT (3 PM MDT) RADAR SHOWED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM CONTAINING
VERY HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WINDS...AND POSSIBLY SMALL HAIL...WHICH WAS
LOCATED ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF HAYES CENTER...OR 35 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF NORTH PLATTE.  THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SLOWLY NORTHEAST AROUND
10 MILES AN HOUR.

IF THE THUNDERSTORM MAINTAINS INTEGRITY IT WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHERN
LINCOLN COUNTY...NEAR THE COMMUNITY OF WELLFLEET...AROUND 515 PM CDT.

STRONG GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...VERY HEAVY RAINFALL AND
SMALL HAIL MAY ACCOMPANY THE STRONGER STORMS.
