...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY FROM 1215
PM EDT UNTIL 7 PM EDT...

A STRONG LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS...SOME SEVERE...STRETCHED FROM JUST WEST
OF LEXINGTON TO 30 MILES WEST OF SOMERSET IN CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND WILL
BE APPROACHING SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY BY 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON. THESE STORMS
HAVE A HISTORY OF DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL.

SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY RESIDENTS SHOULD PREPARE NOW FOR THE APPROACH OF
THESE STORMS. BE SURE YOU HAVE A SAFE SHELTER TO GO TO IN CASE A
WARNING IS ISSUED. LOOSE OBJECTS AROUND THE YARD SHOULD BE STOWED.

A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND TORNADOES IN OR CLOSE THE WATCH AREA. PERSONS
