FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  400 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION   S...
 
IN SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY
 
   ...BELL COUNTY...HARLAN COUNTY...KNOX COUNTY
 
AT NOON...HEAVIER RAIN WAS MOVING INTO BELL...HARLAN AND KNOX COUNTIES
OF SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY. CREEKS AND STREAMS ACROSS THESE COUNTIES ARE
EXCEEDING THEIR BANKS. THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING
ACROSS THESE COUNTIES OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT.  IT'S
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.  CAMPERS SHOULD
AVOID CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
