...TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 41 WHICH INCLUDES MOST OF EAST CENTRAL
MISSISSIPPI AND PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
4 PM CST...

AT 125 PM CST MERIDIAN RADAR INDICATED A 60 MILE WIDE AREA OF RAIN AND
INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM NEAR JACKSON MISSISSIPPI TO NEAR
FAYETTE ALABAMA. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED NEAR JACKSON
AND NEAR CANTON MISSISSIPPI. THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST
AT 45 MPH.
