AT 915 AM CST MERIDIAN RADAR INDICATED A LARGE AREA OF RAIN WITH ISOLATED VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS 90 MILES WIDE FROM NEAR POPLARVILLE MISSISSIPPI TO FOREST MISSISSIPPI TO TUSCALOOSA ALABAMA. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED NEAR BAY SPRINGS AND SOUTH OF NEWTON MISSISSIPPI. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH WHILE THE AREA OF RAIN AND STORMS WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. PERSONS IN OR CLOSE TO THESE STORMS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND BE PREPARED TO SEEK SHELTER SHOULD A WARNING BE ISSUED.
