FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...S...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
 
   ...WESTERN GRENADA COUNTY...NORTHERN LEFLORE COUNTY
 
VERY HEAVY RAINS OF NEARLY 1 INCH PER HOUR CONTINUE IN THE AREA FROM
AROUND MINTER CITY EASTWARD ALONG AND JUST SOUTH OF HIGHWAY EIGHT TO
THE HOLCOMB AREA.  RADAR ESTIMATES THAT AMOUNTS MAY HAVE REACHED
3.5 INCHES BETWEEN PHILLIPP AND MONEY SINCE 3AM AND THE RAINS SHOULD
CONTINUE UNTIL ABOUT MID MORNING.
 
THIS LATEST ROUND OF HEAVY RAIN IS IN THE SAME LOCATION THAT WAS
DUMPED ON WITH BETWEEN 4 AND 5 INCHES THIS PAST SATURDAY.
 
IF YOU LIVE IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY
SINCE THE WATERS WILL BE RISING FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOU TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER MUST BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
