000 TTAA00 KHOU 060302 SVRHOU TXC157-060330- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON TX 1000 PM CDT TUE APR 5 1994 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HOUSTON HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS ...EASTERN FORT BEND COUNTY AT 955 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED IN EASTERN FORT BEND COUNTY FROM SUGARLAND SOUTH TO NEAR THOMPSONS. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.

SOUTHEAST TEXAS FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON, TX 833 PM CDT TUE APR 5 1994 SVR TO STG THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO FIRE ALONG THE COLD FRONT WITH LI'S OF -6 AND CAPE OF 1100. HELCITY VALUES ARE AROUND 170 WITH MAX VALUES OF 250 WITH ANY RIGHT TURNING OF THE STORM. SEVERAL LOCATIONS HAVE REPORTED 1 INCH TO GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL THEREFORE ONLY CHANGES WILL BE TO DROP SVR TSTM AND POPS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE LINE. 44
