AT 455 PM MDT (555 PM CDT)...NO THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING IN THAT
PART OF NORTHEAST COLORADO OR EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA INCLUDED IN
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH. THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT IS STILL
POSSIBLE IN THE WATCH AREA. THUNDERSTORMS THAT DO DEVELOP IN THE WATCH
AREA DO HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME SEVERE...SO THE WATCH WILL
CONTINUE UNTIL 9 PM MDT (10 PM CDT).

AT 530 PM MDT...A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN LOCATED 40 MILES
NORTH NORTHWEST OF YUMA WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. AT
THIS MOVEMENT THE THUNDERSTORM SHOULD BE 20 MILES NORTH OF YUMA BY
630 PM MDT.

THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE VICINITY OF THIS THUNDERSTORM IS VERY
UNSTABLE...SO THE THUNDERSTORM DOES HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME
SEVERE. PEOPLE IN YUMA COUNTY SHOULD REMAIN PARTICULARLY ALERT TO THIS
DEVELOPING SITUATION. NORTHERN YUMA...DUNDY AND HITCHCOCK COUNTIES
REMAIN IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH UNTIL 9 PM MDT (10 PM CDT).

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH CONTINUES UNTIL 9 PM MDT (10 PM CDT)...

AT 650 PM MDT (750 PM CDT)...THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED BETWEEN YUMA
AND ECKLEY...25 MILES NORTHEAST OF ECKLEY AND 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
YUMA IN YUMA COUNTY COLORADO. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT
30 MILES AN HOUR.

THE THUNDERSTORM WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN WAS LOCATED 10 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF YUMA. YUMA LAW ENFORCEMENT HAS INDICATED THAT THESE THUNDERSTORMS
PRODUCED UP TO 45 MILE AN HOUR WINDS AND PEA TO MARBLE SIZE HAIL IN THE
LAST HOUR. GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL WILL LIKELY CONTINUE AS THESE
THUNDERSTORMS MOVE THROUGH YUMA AND DUNDY COUNTIES.

REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT. AS THE
ATMOSPHERE REMAINS VERY UNSTABLE...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE STILL
POSSIBLE IN THE PWATCH AREA.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.  FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
