A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF EASTERN
COLORADO...EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA...AND MOST OF NORTHWEST KANSAS.
THE WATCH IS FOR AN AREA GENERALLY WEST OF A NORTON / QUINTER LINE.

AT 550 PM MDT (650 PM CDT)...GOODLAND DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG TO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN KANSAS FROM ST. FRANCIS INTO NORTHWEST LOGAN
COUNTY.  THE RADAR ALSO SHOWED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN EASTERN COLORADO
FROM 20 MILES NORTHWEST OF AKRON TO LIMON.  BOTH AREAS WERE MOVING TO
THE SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.  FOR YOUR
