THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  700 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...COLLIN COUNTY...DENTON COUNTY
 
AT 328 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT
THE RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS HAS MOVED TO THE EAST OF DENTON AND COLLIN
COUNTIES. HOWEVER...FLOODING CONTINUED ON SEVERAL ROADS. THE DENTON
COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTED THAT BOTH THE NORTH AND SOUTH BOUND
PARTS OF I-35 EAST AT CORINTH. FLOODING ALSO CONTINUED IN THE PONDER
AND AUBREY AREAS. THE COLLIN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ALSO REPORTED THAT
SOME OF THE ROADWAYS IN THEIR COUNTY ALSO REMAINED FLOODED.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLOODING IS
,OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
