...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST THROUGH THE AREA...

AT 642 PM STRONG THUNDERSTORMS STRETCHED FROM HARTLEY IOWA...65 MILES
NORTHEAST OF SIOUX CITY TO MARCUS...40 MILES NORTHEAST OF SIOUX CITY.
PEA SIZE HAIL AND 40 MILE AN HOUR WINDS WAS REPORTED AT MARCUS AT 636
PM.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.
SUTHERLAND...LARRABEE AND MERIDIAN IOWA WILL BE AFFECTED BY THESE
STORMS THROUGH 715 PM.

STORMS ALSO WERE LOCATED FROM JUST WEST OF KINGSLEY IOWA...20 MILES
EAST OF SIOUX CITY TO WINNEBAGO NEBRASKA...20 MILES SOUTH OF SIOUX
CITY.  THESE STORMS WERE ALSO MOVING EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.
KINGSLEY...PIERSON AND SALIX IOWA WILL BE AFFECTED BY THESE STORMS
THROUGH 715 PM.

A THIRD STORM WAS OVER PENDER NEBRASKA...30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF SIOUX
CITY MOVING EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.  THIS STORM WILL MOVE INTO
ROSALIE NEBRASKA BY 715 PM.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM FOR
OBRIEN...CHEROKEE AND PLYMOUTH COUNTIES.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH CANCELLED FOR SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA AND
FAR NORTHWEST IOWA...

AT 650 PM CDT STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAVE MOVED SOUTHEAST OF MOST OF
SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA AND FAR NORTHWEST IOWA AND THE SEVERE THREAT
HAS DIMINISHED.

HOWEVER SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD CONTINUE
UNTIL AFTER SUNSET AND MAY ADD TO HEAVY RAINS THAT HAVE ALREADY
OCCURRED IN SOME AREAS. URBAN FLOODING WAS REPORTED IN WINDOM
MINNESOTA AROUND 6 PM. SOME SMALL STREAMS COULD ALSO RISE OUT OF
THEIR BANKS THIS EVENING IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...PARTS OF NORTHWEST
IOWA...AND ALSO IN BROOKINGS COUNTY IN EASTCENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA WHERE
UP TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN WAS REPORTED TODAY.
