000 TTAA00 KCHA 122314 SVRCHA TNC143-122345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHATTANOOGA TN 714 PM EDT TUE APR 12 1994 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHATTANOOGA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE ...RHEA COUNTY AT 710PM EDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN RHEA COUNTY NEAR DAYTON. THE THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH AT 35 MPH. THE THUNDERSTORM WILL PRODUCE STRONG GUSTY WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND LOCALLY VERY HEAVY RAINFALL THAT COULD PRODUCE LOCAL FLOODING. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
