NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN TX
746 PM CDT SUN MAY 29 1994

...THE TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR TRAVIS...WILLIAMSON AND
COUNTIES TO THE WEST AND NORTHWEST...UNTIL 11 PM TONIGHT...

AT 745 PM...RADAR DETECTED A LARGE SUPER-CELL COMPLEX OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS OVER A 50 MILE DIAMETER AREA CENTERED 120 MILES NORTH-
WEST OF AUSTIN.  SOME OF THOSE STORMS HAVE HAD A HISTORY OF TORNADOES
AND EXTREMELY LARGE HAIL.  THEY WERE MOVING TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTH-
EAST AT NEAR 25 MPH.

AT THIS SPEED AND IF THEY MAINTAIN THEIR CURRENT INTENSITY...THEY
COULD MOVE INTO PARTS OF WESTERN  MILLS AND SAN SABA COUNTIES BE-
TWEEN 8 AND 9 PM.  PERSONS IN THESE COUNTIES SHOULD STAY ALERT AND
BE READY IN CASE WARNINGS ARE ISSUED.
