A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ROUGHLY THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF LOWER MICHIGAN UNTIL 3 AM. THE WATCH INCLUDES THE CITIES OF LANSING...SAGINAW...JACKSON...FLINT...AND THE DETROIT METROPOLITAN AREA. AT 1050 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A BAND OF STRONG TO POSSIBLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM ABOUT 10 MILES SOUTH OF SAGINAW TO THE OHIO...INDIANA...MICHIGAN STATE BORDER.
