URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL NOON EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL LOWER MICHIGAN
 
   ...GENESEE COUNTY...LAPEER COUNTY...SAGINAW COUNTY
   ...SHIAWASSEE COUNTY
 
AT 555 AM EST...PATCHES OF LIGHT RAIN WERE FALLING ACROSS THE WARNING
AREA. MORE RAIN SHOWERS WERE INDICATED BY RADAR TO THE WEST OF THE
WARNING AREA. THESE SHOWERS WILL MOVE INTO SHIAWASSEE AND SAGINAW
COUNTIES BY 700 AM. PERIODS OF RAIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE
MORNING...RESULTING IN ADDITIONAL FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND
ROADWAYS. THEREFORE...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEEN
EXTENDED THROUGH THIS MORNING.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADFWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
