   MIDNIGHT...

AT 630 PM CDT...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS OVER PORTIONS OF
WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST IOWA. THE STORMS STRETCHED FROM COUNCIL
BLUFFS NORTH TO NEAR ESTHERVILLE. LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...
FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND TORRENTIAL RAINFALL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE
STORMS. ELSEWHERE...LESS INTENSE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED
IN A 15 MILE WIDE BAND CENTERED FROM THE MINNESOTA BORDER NORTH OF MASON
CITY SOUTH THROUGH DES MOINES TO LAMONI.

MOVEMENT OF ALL THE PRECIPITATION WAS NORTH AT 40 MPH.
