000 TTAA00 KDDC 100359 RRA SVRDDC KSC075-100500- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 1054 PM CDT (954 PM MDT) THU JUN 9 1994 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT (1100 PM MD FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS ...NORTHERN HAMILTON COUNTY AT 954 PM MDT (1054 PM CDT)...DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM HEADING INTO NORTHWEST HAMILTON COUNTY OUT OF COLORADO. THE STORM WAS 29 MILES NORTHWEST OF SYRACUSE OVER OPEN COUNTRY AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 33 MILES AN HOUR. THE STORM SHOULD MOVE INTO NORTHWEST HAMILTON COUNTY OVER OPEN RANGE LAND BY 1010 PM MDT (1110 PM CDT) AND MAY REACH SYRACUSE BY 1100 PM MDT (1200 AM CDT). THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING VERY LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND. IF YOU ARE IN OR NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM...TAKE IMMEDIATE SAFE SHELTER.
